How do I start playing?
Simply visit the NorthernPlayLounge website, confirm that you are 18 or older on the age verification screen, and you will automatically receive 5,000 virtual coins to begin playing. No registration is required.
Do I need to download anything?
No. NorthernPlayLounge runs entirely in your web browser. It works on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and most modern mobile browsers. No app, plugin, or download is required.
Is my personal data collected?
We do not collect personal data or require you to create an account. Your coin balance and preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage, which is private to your device. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.

Coins & Progress

What happens if I run out of coins?
If your balance drops to zero, each game includes a free refresh option that restores your balance to 1,000 virtual coins. You can also return to the home screen and use the global reset option. There is never a situation where you are permanently locked out of playing.
Will I lose my progress if I close the browser?
Your coin balance is automatically saved in localStorage each time it changes. As long as you do not manually clear your browser data, your progress will be there when you return. Note that localStorage is device-specific — your balance does not sync across devices.
Can I transfer coins to another player?
No. Virtual coin balances are stored locally on each player's own device and cannot be transferred, traded, gifted, or exchanged between players or accounts in any way.

Technical Help

The game is not loading properly. What should I do?
First, try refreshing the page. If the problem persists, clear your browser cache and reload. Ensure JavaScript is enabled in your browser settings. NorthernPlayLounge requires a modern browser (released within the last three years) and an active internet connection to load fonts and assets.
The spin/wheel animation is slow or choppy.
Animations rely on CSS and JavaScript. If your device is older or has limited processing power, try closing other browser tabs, disabling browser extensions, or switching to a desktop browser for the best experience.
